I don't see why anyone is worrying about the back edge already. Just look at the radar over the last few hours. That northwestern edge of the precip shield has been stationary in northern NJ just sitting in the exact same spot cutting across Passaic and Morris counties.

About 2.5 inches so far in Pawtucket. Snow growth has been steadily increasing as visibility drops. 

I'm glad to be in Pawtucket for this event. This area always observes lesser snowfall accumulations than its peripheral towns and cities. I want to see first hand if this is true.
