The back edge isn't progressing to the east much, if at all. And that nearly stationary band over southern MD/northern neck has crept north and seems to be merging with our band.

Been snowy for 2 hours and my ground is still not white.  Better hurry up or my 3 to 5 inches here Clavert will not get close to verifyiing.

I'm in Prince Frederick and everything is   covered. Snowing at a good clip as well!  I tried posting a pic but have no idea how to get it less than 1.95mb from my iPhone.

I think I live too close to the hot lanes. Some physical truth to that. I swear the uhi kills precip bands.

Yeah, radar is showing weak returns over NW DC through Arlington. Here in Dupont the rate has dropped off considerably from when it started snowing again about an hour ago. One must squint very hard to make out the pixie currently falling at 23rd/M streets NW

12z HRRR looked a bit better for the area. We're riding the fail line all day though.

That could be the tag line for us if you change day to winter.

Living anywhere near I-95 is misery. There has to be some effect from the Roads that keeps snow from falling

I had a nice run of being jackpotville from 09-10 to 14-15.  That ended hard last year and has continued through what pitiful events we've had this year.
