JerseyWx
Definitely a good soaker here. Sitting at about 3 inches. Some areas got twice that, which is pretty crazy. Had solid downpours about an hour ago. Haven't had to add water to the pool once this year, and in fact I've had to drain it several times, tomorrow included.

NEG NAO
Everyone east of the Hudson take a look at your radars - you are about to receive steady heavy rain as a long stream of moderate to heavy rain is moving up the coast and extends south all the way to the Carolinas and the developing low dropping into the trough will develop further just off the coast and draw all this moisture into it - an unusual set up for late July

MANDA
Event total here: 1.99". Enough but not excessive. While some slight long term dryness is still going on the drought up in my area is essentially over. July will end up being a very wet month up this way and for the sub forum with maybe a few exceptions. Just need to keep up at least normal rainfall next several months to keep from slipping back into dryness. Gotta love the negative tilt trof exiting off the Mid-Atlantic and SNE coast this morning. High anomalous for July. Not sure my grass has ever been greener heading into August.

I have a friend in northern Hunterdon county in NJ who recorded 5.84" of rain for this event. They hit the jackpot.
