Bimodal distribution alert. Too gloomy today…I’ll take 90 and sunny over this. We get enough of these days from November thru March.

You definitely value heat more than me, so I understand your reasoning. I hate the heat. I only like 90+ when I'm at the beach. Otherwise, it's annoying. I do wish we could have more cool and sunny days, but this time of year, cooler weather usually indicates broad troughing or shallow cool from back door fronts. Can't have the cake and eat it too, so I get it. Alas, we also need rain, so getting warm and humid can at least open the door for convection. On to summer I suppose!

Went out and did some mowing while its still nice and the trees are filtering the sun. 69 currently.

Now taking a break and drinking a 30 min IPA- perfect mid morning beer. Crushable session ale at 4% abv.

We will see this temp oscillation once  again this week and I think that continues thru end of June.  July will be hot but August and June not

Have seen a pattern pending with analogs so far of 1957,62,1990, 2003, 2011, 2015,16 and 2021

Yea, still pretty difficult to get a full day of sun here. Mostly sunny forecast yesterday and today turned into mostly cloudy conditions by late afternoon. Temps are great, though.

It's starting to sprinkle. Given that yesterday's predicted rain hit a wall in western Fauquier County and vanished, I didn't expect unforecasted showers to get this far east.

I wonder if this wil bust the high temps forecast for today.
