Incredibly wet, partially melted snowflakes, but still clearly snowflakes now. Less than 24 hours after 88° temperatures.

Kinda pulsing here between maybe mod snow and a flizzard. Gonna need that mod snow consistently to get the grass to cave at these temps.

Air temperatures have started to level off a bit and I think the mountains are blocking most of it from progressing into the valley. Hoping to get a brief turn to snow but we'll see what happens.

 Probably a record. I think it was like 60 in March 2015 the day before it snowed, but this blows it out of the water.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of a serious ice storm in 1984, the latest in the year that I can remember. It followed the thundersnow on March 8, when IAD got four inches in one hour!
