When I left for work it wasn't doing anything and around a quarter inch fell overnight. Looking at radar its been pouring at my house. Actually training. I'm guessing the warm front is triggering it to some degree.

Seemed to have missed all the heavier rains this morning.  Picked up .23".  Combined with the .5 that fell last evening though, it's the biggest rain event here in ages.

Hopefully, we add more this weekend.

Plenty of heavy rainfall on the drive in to work. Roads runoff heavy. Wouldn't be surprised if the home station was approaching 1 inch.

Finally completely cleared about an hour ago. Sheesh it is warm and gusty out there! Currently 65.8/30.0 with WSW winds at 18 gusting to 35 mph.

It was 48° for a high in my neighborhood and by the time I got back home, it was 45°. Cold waters doing numbers keeping this area cool

High of 50 today.  I thought I would try to do some gardening since it was so nice out.  Tried to dig up some of the darn onion grass that always shoots up this time of year.  The ground was still rock solid frozen.  I think this bodes well for our event on Sunday.  This event is occurring after a long, long cold period.  Ground temps are still really cold.  I'm hoping that we bust on the cold side of this event.

Post your pics!  Was there any ice left on the backside heading down to the fire road?  That can be tricky in the winter.  

I should organize a Mid Atlantic Wx hike there with a stop after at Copper Fox distillery.
