Freezing rain has made it to the western shore. 75% Freezing rain and it's glazing up everything pretty fast. 24

Temp rising fast, 26.6.  Seems to be a 75/25 sleet/FRZA mix. Glazing over.

Up to 27 degrees in DC vs. 21 degrees at my family’s house in Arlington. Some tight temperature gradients going on today.

Down to 13 from my torching high if 14. Sleet continues. Looks to end in the next hour or so.

6" of Snow, 3.2" of sleet. Definitely going to make a run for 4 if these bands keep coming in, which would put me at 10"

I jumped to 25 but back down to 22.5

That helps. I think I am 3 inches of sleet - and I had it for six inches of snow pre-flip so 9” for my part of Fallston which lines up well with your obs and Kay’s.

Mod to bursts heavy sleet in the final band. Few decent wind gusts as well. Didn't get nearly the snow totals as the dmv folks but a high impact and memorable storm no matter. This has been a solid winter in these parts

Did you clear at all? The totals are so uniform through the region I imagine the entirety of Harford is within a few tenths.

Definitely a high impact memorable storm here, maybe just not exactly in the way we wanted it to turn out. But we ain’t going anywhere for at least a few days probably longer

Shoveling out the cars it’s unbelievable how much sleet there is.  It was literally running over my gutters like a summer thunderstorm during those sleet death bands.

13.8 and still moderate sleet....had sleet out here since 5:00am....most I've ever experienced...sleet-slides over 2' deep at places around my house!

I cleared once - two since I cleared after about an inch. I may be undershooting it but it is roughly accurate - as accurate as I can be in these conditions lol…

This is infinitely better than 12" of snow that melts off in 4 days.

Still getting Moderate sleet in Silver Spring for past 7 hours.  25deg. No freeze rain yet.

In a lull now before the back side moves in. Switched over to all freezing rain and temp has started to drop with winds switching to the NW. Between the sleet and now the FR the snowpack is solid as a rock, glad I cleared the driveway before the flip. Would estimate about a .1 of ice build up on trees already

16/15 here and pinging since maybe 1pm. Can’t say for sure how much snow since it’s been blowing around. We still have the tree up so I’m enjoying the white Christmas that 2025 didn’t give me

Ehh maybe. Long range thread is quiet. Next weekend threat has pretty much disappeared. We can’t ever seem to get big qpf and we finally do and we waste it. Can’t squander the few opportunities we get.
