Managed another 1/2 or so on the street at the plow cleared a little over an hour ago.  

Coming down steadily----but I think the end is in sight.  Heading to Pit1 shortly.

Snowing again moderately

So pretty out.  Snow stuck to everything and it's still lightly coming down.

Looks to be about 4" or so.  Trees all around so it's hard to get a clean reading.

Nickels and quarters falling here. This is that good growth IVT stuff. Can get some sneaky additional accumulation.

The best part of this whole snow siege was there was zero wind. For this hill that is very rare .

It allowed the trees to keep all snow - photogenic scenes out there for all.  Now that the light is hitting the trees I captured this..

Just a reminder how bad it’s been for us. I moved here in 2018.. 8 years and I’ve never had back to back months over 8” of snow until the last 2 months. 13.4” December and 9.6” January - 23.0” on the season

Everything is just caked and snow and has been since about late Saturday morning. Almost to the point where another probably 2-3 inches of this and we'd be seeing some limbs break off and probably power outages. I can't remember the last time it was really this photogenic outside...in fact, its like pictures don't even do the true justice. This is probably how it looks like in parts of Alaska all winter long.

Weird how BOX removed all the Cape amounts from PNS.even the NWS observed 5.8" from 11pm. Now the amounts are all 4" and under. One way to cover a busted forecast

We had 6 just shy of 11 here, and there is just shy of two more out there now. Obviously it’s compacted some, but there definitely was close to that here, no doubt

Snow is really holding on out there.  It looks like about 5-6 inches total for the weekend in Central MA.

Thank goodness…looks like you jacked. And good for you.  You were definitely due. Glad you guys got the goods.
 

Will this satisfy you for a little while? Hopefully curb the incessant whining?  Snow isn’t melting either.  And Hopefully we all get more being we still have two full weeks of January left, and 8 weeks total of the winter season to go yet.  Enjoy .

Well, we made a valiant effort to comeback, and we finished at 2.7” here at WXW1. A truly gorgeous scene around town.
