Down to 15f when I left the house. DP 11.. .. quite cold for our location, in early December. 

ETA: tidal South River showing a small bit of open water, but generally frozen over. The (fresh water) swamp pond is plenty frozen.

Only down to 21.0 for a low, think the clouds keep us from dropping further. Currently 21.3/20.6 and cloudy with 4.5 inches of snow OTG. The 5.1" that fell yesterday is a new daily snowfall record, breaking 1988's 3.5".

Heavy cloud cover persisted most of last night.  This allowed a low of 12 at 2 am instead of a possible 5. 

Total of 3.5 inches.  5.4 inches was reported about 10 miles south.

It was cold! You should do the right thing and put a blanket on it to help keep it warm.

We got down to 14 here last night.

16.3° here - looks like just inland up in Churchville it got down to 12°.

Blizzard warning posted for the MD/WV mountains.  Upslope conditions look really good for Davis and McHenry.

Managed to keep the high under 30 degrees in Charlottesville with intact snow cover. Gotta be a rarity anytime of year and much less December! Took the opportunity to go on a hike of some local trails.

I got everything scraped/cleared out, then went to town. Amazing difference. A few spots there were almost bare ground, I still have 4 inches, plus all the snow still hanging in the trees and shrubs. Less than 5 miles and 300-400 foot elevation difference.

Too busy at work to chase... but next time there is a Blizzard Warning I'll need to figure something out lol
