Agree (minus Mac Jones getting 3 pass attempts in Buffalo). Brady used to light teams up. I’m just not sure how much experience Drake has throwing in those conditions and how pass happy Vrabel would want to be…but I’m sure Josh would love to go pass heavy with Stef and Pop running a bunch of quick cut routes from the slot.

You know Diggs is going to be up for it.

I am playing Maye because well he the only QB I have, or need, but if I could play Lamar over him I think I would. Bengals defense sucks so this should be a shootout. If Anything, he needs a big bounceback game.

Lamar had Cincy a couple weeks ago and was ass. But he ran a bit more last week so maybe the hammy is doing better.

You know    i'm not  part of this conversation but I've always felt that 'conditions' aspect is over applied.    We used to play in the "Waltham League" back in my late 20s and early 30s.  Great era of life really.  Despite all protestations of the times, looking back, I'd love to go back - maybe even do some things differently.   Anyway, we met up around 9 or 10am on Sunday mornings before the Patriots game - mind you, this was when the dynasty was just getting going.  Imagine that?  20 guys supposedly doing flag football; eventually just ended up being so aggressive that guys took hits once in a while; all the while, visions and fantasies of being somehow a part of said dynasty.  Ha. It was a great time. Then afterwards, we haul our steaming bodies to the Mad Raven on Rt 20, for Guinness and IPAs ... wings and Patriot's victories.

Oh where was I going ... so we were literally steaming.  There were a couple of mornings where it couldn't have been more than 20F, over a few inches of trampled packed snow on the field, and by 3rd down of the opening drive both sides were down to t-shirts.   Just going by experience, football is a hot f'n sport man.  Now... okay, if it's -10 F like the Ice Bowl game or whatever, sure.  But if's just a normal climo winter's day, and their playin'   it's hard for me to imagine cold being much of a factor.

If it makes you feel any better Euro AI sides with the gfs. ;)

I’m always intrigued my Christmas day weather, but we’re still a good 5-7 days away from having a clue.

AI was cold for a while around that time period and has since flipped....can't say I believe it anymore than any other model at this point.

yeah not sure yet.  It may be a last minute thing.  I have a huge family.  Not sure if I've ever exposed this but I have 9 sisters and they all have demands of one another's time - including their sole bro.  Since, truth be told, there are only 7 still living, that's like a political urgency to be ... anyway, there's a thing tomorrow - not sure how long.  There's some conflict there.

Well, there’s no doubt I’ve let my opinions out on this pattern. However, after the warm-up next week, I think there is a legit shot of some overrunning before Christmas.
I was just looking a little bit more at the ensemble and you can definitely get a sense based on the members and six hour QPF that there’s some semblance of moisture trying to run into some of the cold area that we’ll have in place or at least trying to leak down from Canada. It could easily cut, however I think if there’s any shot it’s probably like the 21st to the 24th or something like that.

I think we obviously still have chances here on out, I just think we are going to lose the persistent cold we have had since mid November.

It’s the one thing that’s been bugging me and for some reason it’s going right up my tailpipe. I can’t believe we’re gonna waste this awesome airmass that we’ve had for over two weeks.

I feel cautiously optimistic for the post Christmas period (or maybe even around)...but saying this I also feel I'm setting myself up to fall into the cycle of "pattern looks good early Dec, delayed to after the 10th, delayed to around Christmas, delayed until after New Years).

But the overall regime does look like it will relax some which would put us very close to that battle ground of warmer temperatures to the south and colder temperatures nearby. You always have to watch though for cutters which makes me a bit nervous.

I am just going into this with no expectations really. All possibilities have nearly an equal chance of happening right now.

Hard to sit Maye in the playoffs. I have Maye and my opponent has Allen. Hoping they kinda wash each other out.

I know the GFS/NAM suck right now for Sunday... but the Euro, Euro AI, UK, Canadian, GFS AI have a decent little event still.

I wouldn't throw in the towel.

Ukie  went kind of meh at 6z compared to 0z though

I’m surprisingly enjoying the cold.  It feels like a throwback to my youth including waiting for the snow.   We’re near the 65 year anniversary of one of the great 20th century blizzards that buried Virginia to Maine.
