It does not feel like 42 out. It is quite raw and damp making it feel in the upper 20’s even though the feels like temp is 39.

I'm up on top of Sugarloaf Mountain at almost 1300' elevation. It feels even colder up here. It's probably 38. It feels like deep winter.

0.14" overnight, 0.87" on the month.  Continuing to be very dry.

0.3”ish for me. Next Tuesday looks like the last rain of the month and probably another pretty light event.

This will be the 5th consecutive below normal precip Autumn, and the 10th out of 12.  You have to go back to the 1950s/60s and 1910s/20s to find similar stretches.  Rolling it forward, both of those periods were relatively snowy, but the current one is, um, not.

Wow didn’t know it was that long of a stretch.

Somebody mentioned this earlier...

Was driving home from Annapolis this afternoon and noticed a Japanese cherry that was about half in bloom.  Wonder why, not like it's been warm out or anything this fall.  Weird.

There are some fall and winter blooming cultivars
