Mrs.J Posted yesterday at 11:11 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:11 AM Surprise little shower line coming in. Had to rush out and cover the deck furniture. Had not used it for awhile but yesterday was glorious.

dailylurker Posted yesterday at 09:36 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:36 PM It feels like the front is coming through. The wind suddenly picked up from what feels like the NW and the air feels cooler and drier.

Not so good for rain. Any disturbance that tries to gain latitude will likely end up well offshore.

Usually we pay for a cool late August/ early September with a blowtorch October. It doesn't have any sway on the winter.

It was terrible.

IronTy
Game cam reported 52F at 7am at the cabin. Looks like some fog was in the area as well. Mid 60s in DC and feeling pretty comfortable. It's pretty crispy here, leaves falling all over the sidewalks, not that it's helped with mosquitoes. 69F down in Calvert right now, I'm going to head back down that way after dinner tonight. But I think the deficit is around 0.4". That's a lot even for a weekend.

We've earned a nice couple weeks, I think. Late August-early Sept is a great time to have normal/below normal high temps. We usually seem to excel at getting those in March/April

North Balti Zen
I know we need rain, but...holy wow what a day. 84 downtown Balt just now when stepped out - winds out of the NW - no humidity. Fluffy cloud warning in effect.

katabatic
Made it to 70.2 today and the DP is down to 51. Like everyone else, this is akin to winning the weather lotto in August. It'll be interesting to see if Canaan breaks 32 at some point this week.
