Yeah. We are screwed. The roads will be a disaster in the morning.

Not convinced....it's early yet.  I am concerned about ice.  Our snowpack is still strong, and it is hilly where I am...The country roads are still snow covered.....I'm good on food to be stranded for a few days.  I was stranded after the first event.  Be careful what I wish for.

Very heavy rain/sleet mix. Hopefully we can at least flip to all frozen at some point. Then we'll go from there. But it seems like the snow line is reaallly far north right now.

Sir you're going to have to take that pro-rain, anti-snow slant out of this thread.

34 and mod 70%rain/30% sleet

Hey, perhaps we're seeing the beginnings of an even-ing out of things?

LWX noted in the AFD that the precip would turn to snow as the cold sagged south.

Flakes have shrunk a bit around Patterson Park but still coming down at a good rate. If it gets any colder or the snow gets heavier, probably back to the big flakes.

Cold is coming south. Trixie has already flipped back to snow. Only a matter of time until we do.

No doubt. Thurmont is getting crushed. My son is driving the f150 as we trek back from Thurmont. Unreal snow out here. Snow piling up on 15

Yeah the models were a little too warm and the mets saw it. They had 850s and 540s racing north until precip hit but were a little too aggressive with the warm nose before it started retreating. Think we're only getting colder from here.
