When this legislation reaches my desk, I fully plan to use my power of veto.

An Uber will be arriving shortly to bring you back to the appropriate regional forum.

Hey bro. All is good I assume.  We need a supply of bananas

You're ok I guess. Andy, Purduewx, is on our team and is an airline met. If there is anyone tuned in to NYC weather, it's him. He's solid as they come.

Forky is sneaky good. I know the weenies get all riled up, but he knows his stuff too. He'll throw a lot of warm talk to the weenies, but he is a huge snow weenie.

He's good for getting unsuspecting weenies all riled up

Only another 24 hours until the 84h NAM can see the beginning of the storm......

Just to put things into perspective.

It is very typical GFS behavior to lose a system at day 4.5. I would imagine it will trend back to a Euro solution. Huge height falls and the surface getting colder has to be watched closely. This can be a perfect track for initial WAA snow, flip to mix and then a rapid flip back to snow if mid levels crash as well. Very dependent on 5H capture position. Hopefully this is the first of many bowling balls we see this winter.

11-15 reloading on all guidance.

It’s probably BS though.  As a couple of those Twitter Mets have been saying (minus HM who has been very much on the cold train).  Those recent flips back to a better pattern post day 10 on the EPS are likely not accurate if the MJO goes into 3-4-5 though if it’s a muted wave and the AO/NAO are negative perhaps it won’t be a shutout pattern

Whatever happened to that Earthlight guy? I liked his posts before and during storms.

Decided they wanted to start their own NYC Forum page and bolted from here.

When you come back to the forum, we know winter has begun.  :hurrbear:

we had the exact same thought at about the exact same time.

Sun-Mon will be our first widespread snowstorm.

The one thing I feel is lacking from this forum is male representation.
