Certainly has worked it way very close with some time remaining.

Baro finally relaxed

Cutesy white flags, towel throws, I’m out, Game Over May have been premature

Just started in Bristow as well north of Rt28.  Tiny flakes almost snow grains.  But stick immediately. 31F

I’m right in Vint hill area. Decent flurry job for the past 15 minutes.

FCX radar has the southern version of the classic westminster death band going on.

Bob quick question- I know we are in nowcasting mode but the 12z Euro showed  more additional snow by late tonight then what I thought we were going to see. Thoughts plz?

The precip did stall near federalsburg but is now moving north faster. To be fair I think the snow will come as far north as CAPE and I and drop maybe a dusting but I think that's about it.

It looks like DC is just about to get into the snow. No?

Yep. I'm extreme SE corner of FfxCo, but light snow just started within past 10 or so minutes. I'm not expecting more than mood flakes...but will hope for a coating or more, based on the over-perform from a couple weeks ago. Currently 34 degrees.

How far north does that deathband make it?  Looks to be screaming north.

As far north to set up the MoCo / HoCo death band? B)

Heavy returns in a band just south of Salisbury. Could be an effect of the HP to the north pushing down on the precip, causing enhanced lift?

Legit very light snow now. 31F.  Radar looks to me to be moving north for now so maybe I squeeze a couple hours out of this.  Not too shabby

Might be able to snag some fringe light snow with the upper level part, but overall quite a miserable storm for our area.  Perfect temps.  But for whatever reason, these storms just want to stay suppressed similar to last year.  Definitely need that pattern reboot that looks to be coming later this month based on the LR thread.  On the bright side, it’s only December 9th.
