I’m about 4 miles south of 66.  We shall how it progresses.

I am 3.5 miles north of 66, usually a better spot, but not this time. I hope Dumfries gets 3-5 inches.

Yeah this should be fun to see what happens but perhaps a car topper is not out of the question.  All snow is good snow.

Northward progress is about done, enjoy it southern folks.

No it’s not.  I can see it moved north of me and still going north unless I am seeing things.  You are practically due east of me.  You should get some flakes.

I hope you’re right but it looks like it’s dead stopped on the last few frames of radarscope.

It has. I'm a couple hundred yards north of 66 in Arlington and the radar has worsened for me in the past 20 minutes.

Can’t help but wonder if the heavy band coming up will help the storm advance a couple extra miles. But that’s weenie-talk, probably not how things actually work.

Sounds good though

1.9 inch per hour rates right now....

Yep. Pouring for the last couple hours. Wind is howling. Snowing sideways. Incredible. I’m guessing better than 10” when this is done

This one hurts now, but it's really gonna hurt when we are in mid-February and still haven't seen more than a couple inches of snow.

You're a ray of sunshine

Well it’s not like it’s pouring snow here.  But steady and sticking.  All I could ask for
