At most we had about 1.5 inches on the ground.  Even when it was all snow it almost sounded like rain from the sound of the snow melting and falling off the trees.  We lost power around 11pm for about half an hour or an hour.  It was over to rain this morning but the ground was still a slushy white.  I saw very, very little snow on the drive to St. J. (two small patches and a snow covered car)

That's why we post a ruler.. it's sad it has to come to that

You should get a sponsor to pay for naming rights on your ruler.  "this snow measurement is brought to you by the good folks at Tolland Hardware where they have great prices and selection everyday and carry the salt and ice melt to make your walkways cleaner and the blowers to make your snow banks straight!"

Lol.  I like it. Speaking of that.. yesterday's snow reminded me I need to get a new shovel with a sharp blade to sculpt. With a snowy winter coming .. we'lol need it

I probably need a new shovel as well but given the slope off the driveway I may pick up one of those push types and just send the snow over the bank instead of lifting it.  The new house came with two huge snow blowers so I need to get around to figuring out how to use those as I have always been a shovel guy.

I just flipped to sleet but hit 2.7"!

Good stuff and nice pic.  I'd say 1.5"ish at UMass and there is even a little bit left on the mulch beds and colder spots, which I would have bet the farm against going in.   Cold air trapped in the valley ftw I guess.  My house in Belchertown over by Quabbin was .75" and dropping off rapidly east of there.
