I'm about ready to do this until at least 1/10 or so. I got fooled into things were changing in a meaningful=snow way for the next week or so. Hoping that change sets in 1-5/10...but I don't think it looks promising. I don't know wtf changed but the models may have missed something large.

What a nightmare... For all the excitement, for all the model porn, for all the progged pattern changes... the sensible weather hasn't changed much. It'll be colder, sure, but we're in the coldest one month period of the year. This isn't Jan 99 cold or 2007.

Sometimes I wish there were no models past 120... We could keep expectations in check.

We will see how the next few days go. How many systems have fallen apart or gone warm inside of about 84 hours this year? Seems like an awful lot. Here were are on that threshold with the next one after watching a borderline advisory/warning system on Xmas fall to whatever it is now.

You think I care that people are sick of me talking about warmth and reality? I am sick of hearing about winter starting nov 25th and locking in, a December to Remember, arctic hounds, 3-5 days of snow, 4-8 inches of snow and superbomb following.

Its all made up fairytale crap thrown out by the one and only Busthardi. Your forecasts have been so bad, so awful its an absolute joke, anyone else would have been thrown off the board throwing out ridiculous numbers like you have been doing.

So you can take your people are not happy with me song and dance and shove it where the sun does not shine.

Bitter cold this morning now equates to 10-15 above normal??? Thats cute.

if we had all the snow and cold Bustardi has predicted for this month we'd all be -5 and have 15-20 inches of snow, reality is +5 and close to zero snow with nothing really solid in sight...models have been poor past 120 hrs always showing big cold and snows which trend warmer and the cold get pushed out 7+ days. everyone is frustrated. On the plus side, easy travel for folks Christmas plans....that's about it

The other possibility is that there are more important aspects to life for one to be engaged in -

There's love, even passion for the weather, both for the experience and the science alike.

Then there is obsession. That is not too cool.Anyone allowing the tedium of this to control there life to where they are "sleep deprived", or even grumpy toward others - that's a problem.
