  1. Awesome on the digital camera! wow, You're ahead of me in rain so far! only 1.37" here. Looks like center will be near you in a few/several hours and then up into Mass later. I'll do that forecast in between rain bands. Winds should crank later for you and I. Nice segway to auyumn, like you said.

  2. Lol, yes, I may in between rain bands. I'll wear a tie so you can see it blow in the wind! I'll use my digital camera Vid recorder in it.. like 2 Mpixels? lol. Well eye seems to be on the coast of SE NJ now, but not going inland NJ. Thunder and +RA here now and really ramping up. Up all night. Don't think negative about the winter yet.. Lol

  3. This is s nice break from late august weather anyway. It's something to track. W.LI is closer to you for LF. I get strong gusts here and less rafl. Overall.. not bad.. No suicide watches for me anyway. :scooter: Can you do a forecast in the wind?? That would be cool. I'll try to..

  4. Yeah, looking at guidance it seems to be a more serious threat tonight. You'd get a ton of rain too with the wind gusts. I really don't want the 85 knots at my latitude per guidance.

  5. You did nice then. good job. I had less action than you. More SVR Wx possible for you on Thurs. Then the Hurricane is progged over LI NY by Sat. Night..LOL. Dynamical models are east though. Man, either way, RAFL threat is Very high ..LOL You asked for it. What do you think?

  6. Wow, you're ahead of me. I saw you got clocked with yet another strong TSTM. Mine was a moderate TSTM ( OCL LTG) with 0.27" two days ago and only 0.04" yesterday. I'll FB you some ORH historical Climo. I haven't been on there in a while.

  7. Typo's :arrowhead:

The MET syndrome.. not drunk this time.

  8. Lol, Your dad recodred a Lot! Investigate that theory further. You want accuracy at home. I had 4.04" here.

Wow, you got clocked with a nice TSTM this evening! I was yor posts in the thread too. Nice Job! Hoping for some action here tomorrow with that upper level trough passage and decent SB/ML CAPE combo. All I saw was LTG to my west tonight.

  9. Yeah, 290. When you pass the KORH city, the speed limit is 55, then increases to 65 right after the city . Rain is really nice here and only 60/60 with a stiff E/NE breeze.

  10. Hey, That's Cool. You went 290 south and saw the city on the right side? I am on a hill just to the south. Wow, almost autumn again! Rain on the way with a more southerly Low track. You will rain more than me it looks attm. You will also have higher TD's! LOL!

  11. Can you get another thermometer and do a "Manual" check at peak TT time of day? I notice your just NNE of the town of Waterbury, CT. as well. Are you about 5F lower in summer normal diurnal from that station as well? Which is close to your weather.. TT and TD wise? With me, if you add 2F to the ORH high.. that is usually what I end up about here.

  12. How much cooler are you in Watertown than say KDXR? I know you have the elevation and tree's too.

  13. 94.6F.. too funny. I maxed out at 84F and Hoping for some Heavy Thunderstorms tomorrow. Better CAPE and shear values Your way though. Good Luck!

  14. I wish that closed off at H5 earlier Matt. I was snowing moderate to heavy and then sleet got to my latitude. Yet , only 7 miles away it was all snow and 7" and FIT had 8.1." Just two towns north of me had 7.9" in Boylston, were no sleet taint! grr. I was on the board all that night. Well neither of us can complain about this winter anyway.. lol.

  15. 2 inches so far and moderate snow 31F. Thanks for the good luck Matt. After this it's really OVA i fear..lol Let me know what You get out in W. CONN. Hoping Not ALL RA for you. Looks like most accumulation may be NE of me.

  16. haha... now you're getting it..lol. I don't trust this until we are inside 24 hours ..lol

  17. Lol, Yeah, great run. a few flakes out now. Just teasing type snow flakes.

  18. We torch today..lol. Then next week makes an attempt at snow and a phase with a fresh arctic push and below normal temp. TT anomaly by mid to late next week. It probably will happen given there is no chance to build a snow pack in late March : lmao: Looks like below normal a sure bet by D7-10. Enjoy the warm wind today lol

    Over and out.

  19. New coating of snow.. FWIW. Changing to PL now though .

    Over and out.

  20. How much rainfall did you record? I had Just over 1" (1.37").

Winter is slipping away.. snowpack down to only 5" if you average it. There are some brown grass area's now showing up ( first time since 12/26/10). What is your snow on ground now?

  21. You sure arn't called "H2Otown"Wx for nothing! lol, heavy RA here and temp. went from 50F to 37F in one hour. Still 12" snowpack.. But taking a beating. Over and out for now.

  22. Sorry for stealing the clipper on you  However, NE Mass. looks to get 1 or 2" more than me. My call is 4" here.

  23. Yeah, that's just climatology. I see why they think that, as do I. GFS and ECM ENS Mean(s) would change us both over. However, we would get some snow at the beginning. We look to lose -PNA and +NAO appeal in March. More tomorrow, on FB hopefully.
