Pickups have been annoying enough, late summer but so far, 1st Sunday was pouring up until a few hours before and it was clear but it was ungodly humid. Like, I was sweating for an hour AFTER we were done. We canceled the weekend of the nor’easter, which probably would have been the best weather and the other two Sundays were raw and rainy. Couldn’t tell if it was sweat, rain, or both and took forever for my clothes and cleats to dry. Awful weather.

Sunday will be a bit cooler with highs mainly in the middle 60s. The first half of next week will also feature highs in the lower and middle 60s. The weather will be mainly dry. The next chance for precipitation could be Sunday or Monday. The moisture could be enhanced by the remnants of Isaiah. bluewave
Impressive PWATs near 2.00” with post-tropical Isaias and a decent pocket of MUCAPE. So probably a 1” to locally 3” event where the best banding sets up from Sunday into Monday. Pattern warms up for a few days following the storm with the big ridge expansion. Wednesday looks like the peak of this warm up. If the front is slower allowing enough sun, then the usual warm spots in NJ could see low 80s. Interior sections could see first freeze next weekend. So an active pattern for mid-October.
