Got 0.15 to add to the 0.25 from Thursday.  Calvert with a departure of -7.0 inches for the year is the worst in the region west of the Bay.  And now there's no chance for rain in sight.  Crushing drought continues

If you play hoops, then you know that this is goat-level weather (near 80, mostly cloudy/partly sunny, and mostly calm winds). I loved the desert sun, but it was breezy (unusually breezy) and obviously dry almost every day.

The bay/river boundary pushing across ffx county is desperately trying to get a storm going up over Reston. Have watched it grow for the past 10 minutes.

Fun watching the showers/t-storms rolling WEST in a line from Front Royal to almost Lynchburg this afternoon, lol. Everything out this way seems to just be stationary, MAYBE a slight WSW movement. Although I've only had .25-.30 here since noon, 10 miles to my south has had 2-4 INCHES of rain and a FFW until 7:45 pm.
