The pattern from the winter is still in place, with long wave troughiness continuing in the northeast and frequent Canadian airmasses. Completely different from last year. We sent all the torch the Western Europe.

Persistence ftw. This breaks once the fall EL Nino forcing kicks into high gear.

Huge COC today into tomorrow

aside from the winds, it’s pretty damn nice out there this morning. glad the wind is drying out the grass so I can cut it today, but it’s a bit much right now. Hopefully it subsides a bit later

62/53 and ovc with wind is a little chilly for me in July.

It feels like mid September out there.

It's been top 5 hottest June 1 through July 15 period with mostly ridging in the east. Only now are troughs being introduced.

Can’t recall a more boring summer in some time. No thunderstorms, one synoptic rain event sandwiched around Stein hands , a hot humid summer .. and pure boredom

If you’re not getting anything then I have no chance whatsoever
