Dews are running 5-7F lower up here today.  It’s still very hot and humid but definitely a little bit of relief felt with a breeze today.

Probably a 98-99 BDL today.  I'm up north in the car heading into Gilead in western Maine on Rt 2 and temps are upper 80's.

Yeah.....if it were 8 hours from now, we'd expect it.  But now?  No way.

Stuff really blossoming quickly. May bode well for western/central Mass/CT this evening. Activity developing right along the edge of stronger westerly flow aloft and in an environment characterized by 2500 J of MLCAPE and on the edge of an EML. Stupid westerly flow and deeper mixing here though is resulting in lower MLCAPE but maybe we can bring dews up a bit this evening

Too dry.. 

that stuff out there was triggered by the complex of Lake boundaries ...then some secondary enhancing by terrain.  I bet that has trouble come E into the lowering SBCAPE - it may evolve SE of the flow where there's more instability.

I am kind of hoping the activity will cluster enough and develop a cold pool to survive on and lead to some downstream development

Some of the best codfishing l had the entire year was almost always always n the summer when ssts were well into the 70s but 90 to 140 ft down water temps were in the 50s. It was really cool though catching big green white bellied cod wearing T-shirt and shorts and then also bringing the light spinning gear and grabbing a few Mahi on the surface for good measure. Now codfishing is closed and those wind farms are everywhere and everything is so different

It's definitely a EPS heavy skew, but it's like half of the EPS members so it's not nothing.
