I had to replace my oil tank last year.. the $5000 bucks would have been better spent on converting to propane. That has remained relatively stable. I burn wood and pellets, normally keep the thermostats at 64 as a fall back. Fortunately I only burn 400 to 500 gallons a year. Too add salt to wounds, I also drive diesel truck. Just saw 6.10 for the first time in a while.

Summer is officially over. Traded the flip flops for the moccasin slippers. 56 and dropping.

Last time I went to Stowe was 2004. It was during the summer for a few days. My second child was born 9 months later.. ahem. I have skied there, but that was in 1987. I have the epic pass for next year. We will be going this year for a few days with my youngest Teen. Wife doesn't ski, so any in town VRBO's or Inn's suggestions would be good @powderfreak. She loves the small town shops.

It was a top 10 day of the year here. 81. Mid 50's dp. Working on the house as usual for this summer. Full paint job done. Installing a new wood storm door (seems out of order, but its a long story). Fun chisseling the hinges to be level with the jam. But, nocking off 10 year old hit lists this year is enjoyable. I am going to sleep well tonight. Hope to see a few innings of the sox game.
