Fun day. Had our 3rd tstorm of the day roll thru a few mins ago and another on its heels. Nothing close to severe but they've all been noisy. Popcorn boomers

Yay thunderstorms. I was at Tenebrae for Holy Week in Old Town and saw a few flashes of lightning through the stained glass windows of St. Marys. Spring!

Checking in from abroad to see that I got 0.01” at home yesterday, which tracks.

55 out currently. After the third round of storms last night picked up 0.38” for the day. Was nice to see the lightning and hear the thunder. While cloudy and gray this morning it hits differently than a cloudy gray winter day. All the new growth has that fluorescent green color and it shows off all the other budding trees.

Got around a quarter inch which is fine since I'm trying to grow a new lawn.  It was nice sitting on the screened porch watching the lightning show from storms passing through southern Calvert and St. Marys.

Better round came through around 11-midnight with thunder and lightning. A little over half inch rain since yesterday.

Climatologically, our peak BDCF season is March & April, so it's not surprising.

It was in the sixties when I left the house, and I assumed the temperature would hold steady all day. Didn't expect it to get this nippy.
