SnowGolfBro
4 minutes ago, NorthArlington101 said: EURO quietly had it's best run of the storm this morning. We'll see - even a slushy .1" at DCA would be a win. Good luck! It must be ripping snow for at least a few hours on the Euro for the snow depth change to be over an inch in the metros

hstorm
Highs for the day at IAD and DCA are 76-77. Any accumulating snow would be impressive. That fact that it is very likely going to snow for a few hours, even without accumulation, is also impressive. In my view, that’s the proper benchmark 3

How many times have you seen snow immediately following 80 degree days? I can't think of any. If I happen to be wrong, I will personally come back here and apologize to you all. However, I know it's not going to happen, so I'm done posting on this thread because it's really unnecessary. Good night to everyone. Live by the models, die by the models. At least that used to be the war cry 40 years ago. However, I have seen major snow storms with temps near 70 the day or so before (just can't remember specifics)... stormtracker
9 hours ago, PhiEaglesfan712 said: I'm not trolling. I'm being realistic. It doesn't normally snow in DC or Virginia in mid-March, much less following 80-degree days. The sun angle is just too strong. You need something really special, like the Storm of the Century in 1993, for it to snow at this time of year. We don't have that right now. Thanks, but we don’t need some Philly interloper coming into our forum before almost every event to troll us about whatever. We can see, read models and understand our climo without the need for some shit ass poster 100+ miles from here telling us about our own sub forum’s weather. 16 1

It was still warm to the touch. We might get a steamy road look. I agree.
