I obviously can't control the storm , but I can control how I react to it. This was a rare shot not only to experience a 3 foot+ event, which I had never done, but with an antecedent pack of over foot. Sucks- Same and totally get it. But also you put a lot of work into this whole thing.

It sucks, but you at least probably learned something from it. You limited your bitching. You got a decent storm. But definitely could have been a ton better for you. 50 miles...25 miles.. that's all it needed to take 1

ROOSTA
What I would never like to see again is writing a storm off before a flake has fallen. I've said it once and now restated. It's infuriating because it happens over and over. Complain about something you have control over and then only then moan into the mirror. Till the next...enjoy the winter wonderland. tavwtby
anyone know what the pressure got to bottom at and was it anywhere close to record deepening? I don't recall these stats, I thought hurricane Gloria was the fastest mb drop or a west Atlantic storm but I could have that incorrect.

Sey-Mour Snow
I think it’s time for a vacation home in eastern mass . So I can go up there for storms like this. The scenes there today can’t really be duplicated anywhere else.

Also our blizzard conditions were all during the dark and we never had more than light snow today after sunrise. So it was pretty meh because we couldn’t see the goods, but we always take a good 16” storm! What was the highest total in ENE? Lol I measured 16 as well and I know EXACTLY how you feel. During NEMO I lived in Norwalk and was disappointed i missed the 30 to 40 inches east of me (ironically where I live now). I measured a pedestrian 22 inches. Now I had 16 and even Bridgeport reported 20. Only 1996 (27) and 2006 (20.5) was I on par with the top measurements.

We always joke with Scooter and TBlizz, but their snow climate really is like 5+ years of pain followed by the occasional absolute juggernaut. SE Mass can see the most brutal stretches and pain when 10-30 miles NW is getting buried… but when they jackpot it’ll be unlike anywhere else.
