Looks like mid 20s at midnight. In fact, it stays in the mid 20s through around 4am, and we then drop at least 20 degrees in the 4-5 hours following.

I understand the skepticism, but those forecasts were relying on intense radiational cooling late at night, and clouds/wind seemed to wreck those opportunities. This will be pure advection of an intensely cold air mass, and it's legit arctic air. I think this has a much better chance (and I'd say it's very likely) of single digits.

dailylurker
Super rare phenomenon this morning. I mean extremely rare. I didn't bust high by 5 degrees like normal. It actually fell 4 degrees below forecast. I honestly can't remember the last time that happened lol

MDphotog
Debated if this is banter or obs, but it's wild to me that about 2 weeks after the storm you can still look at the Maryland Highway traffic cameras and see snow on the ground for most of the state. That does not happen very often here.
MN Transplant
My NWS point-and-click has a 60mph gust for noon tomorrow. I'm not sure I've seen something like that since the big March windstorm in the late 2010s.

My only solace at this point is not living under massive trees and having underground power lines. Any outages/damage will suck tomorrow with the frigid temps at the same time.
