Just saw this post, but we are running pretty similar in numbers so far....snow has more of a sound to it than before though, visibility is really low, so no sleet at this moment at least

Those are pretty rare. ASOS struggles to go below 1/4SM. They just report it as M1/4SM. Manned obs can go lower with 3/16, 1/8, 1/16, or 0.

How are totals comparing so far to the models?

I’m in Nova Scotia and the, GFS, Euro, and HRRR are giving me pretty different totals and wondering which one has been most accurate so far. 
 

Also off topic but I moved here from the states and can’t seem to find a Canadian equivalent to this site. Anybody know of any?

Reports in the Bronx that they changed back to mostly snow. Probably changes with the rates. I am snow sleet mixed.
