bwt3650
That is awesome . And confirms SNE is about to Go HAMMER Honestly, nobody deserves this more. It’s been a shitty stretch in SNE and it’s great to see old school, cold and snow cover there. I get my fix in Jay, but this is long overdue for you guys and has 24-30 inch in some spots written all over it…and Feb looks to rock.Congratulations guys..enjoy what’s incoming!! It’s fun to watch these rates.. 1

alex
Snow started here a bit ahead of schedule. It’ll be interesting to see how we do. Looks like winds are pretty light so down sloping shouldn’t be much of an issue, and they turn North in the later part of the storm which is ideal for upslope for us. That’s how we got to 48 or so inches in the biggest storm I’ve seen since moving here but mountain weather is always fickle… could go either way

wx_observer
It's been interesting watching that coastal front come on shore with those heavier snow bands are pushing through in the opposite direction. The CF is kind of getting lost in the last few frames so it's hard to tell what is happening with it...at least looking at radar.

Hoping to avoid the sleet after 8PM as much as possible, looks like I'm right on the battleground area/line. Voting for the HRRR today. Just correcting my temp to 11. For some reason my phone is advertising that it's 7 degrees warmer and I took for granted that it was correct.
