Just reshoveled my poop walk for the dogs.  When I shoveled it this morning, I was at 4 inches and I could barely see where I shoveled earlier.  Sleeting like crazy.  Many pingers!

Looking at the plow lines and little hills of snow that line the road and there is no way cars are going to be able to get out when we transition to sleet and a bit of ZR. This is gonna be a hilarious glacier event.

Interesting range here - the likes of WUnderground/TWC showing 7 degrees e.g. in Reston, and NWS showing 1 degree.

I’ve never experienced heavy sleet in temps in the teens, really cool.  

Just in from another pass at shoveling the driveway / steps.  As I did a final pass after clearing the snow where it was just the sleet that accumulated, it felt like I was shoveling sand.
