Isn't that the wreck where Sam Hornish in the 77 got absolutely demolished?

Yes, he bounced off the outside guardrail and Jeff had nowhere to go.  It didn't do Jeff's back any favors either... *ahem*

Anyway, back on topic.

You're not angering anyone you're just taking the time to look at output that might as well been created by Kevin after 3 zimas and a box of colored pencils. You do you though!

I owe you an apology for earlier, didn't know the deep logistics of why the Kuchie blew in situations like this

The kuchera maps will be correct somewhere, but not because they are uniquely skilled…it will just happen to guess the ratio correctly wherever good snow growth overlaps with the deep layer cold the longest. Outside of that zone it will probably wildly overestimate.

There it is!

the model transmission failure that seals the fate of this particular storm as actually happening.    That's how we know...  the technology, some how some where some way from some source always fucks up when it is exactly the wrong time to do so.  It's just creepy action at a distance electron double split eerie shit where the storm some how doesn't want to be detected by the quantum processing of the models or something but it's dependable -

what's with the 1 hour of snow and freezing rain on Monday in NWS forecast in my area? I truly don't get where Weather Channel and NWS come up with unexpected jumps/changes. I can't monitor the board full time, so I may be missing things. Forecast Discussion on NWS doesn't mention any kind of change over.
