The Catoctin Cloud Magnet (CCM) has been a force this morning...and very visible on satellite.  Looks like some thinning in progress, though.  Hoping to get another round of sun today before the line of showers and stuff arrives after sunset.

Had a good view of it from the east side this morning.

Temp has surged above 75 under filtered sun and a great breeze. Really beautiful outside tho I think it's going to be quite a long time before I see 75 again

It's 76/57 and quite breezy/windy(15-G30ish) here in Charles County as well. I'm sure the higher elevations are gusting quite well ahead of this system.

Currently 52 degrees here after a heavy Squall line moved through about 45 minutes ago. .76" of Rain so far today. A good bit more than forecasted. Way more than the terrible HRRR had for us.

Wind blew down the BP gas station sign near me.  Knocked down part of the roof of the convenience store when it fell.

That's impressive yet also quite sad. Highest gusts have only been 40-45 at most. That sign was begging to die.
