It was like that here too, but sun broke out in the last 30 mins. Still pretty humid but not awful. 80/66

Dews should lower through the afternoon with a breeze out of the north. This evening should feel fantastic. Tomorrow is going to be about the best weather we get in this area in late July, and Wed should also be very nice.

Dew point continues to drop now at 62, wow ! But, cloud cover has increased and I see showers on the radar to my far South near extreme Southern DE.

Going to time in an outside landscape project tomorrow and Weds AM.,  only because of the cooler weather and lower dews.

Some folks tomorrow morning will be thinking of Fall, with thoughts about Fall coffees,  pumpkin comes to mind.

I saw on Twitter someone had posted a display from a Target with Halloween stuff (this was a couple weeks ago lol).

My neighbor works at a local Home Depot. He told me this weekend that the Halloween supplies and kits have arrived and they plan to set up displays soon.

Went to get the mail and lower dp air is definitely filtering in.  Has that late August sound/feel to the air out there.  Hoping I can open my windows for a few hours tomorrow morning to get some fresh air inside.

Same here.  Almost feels "crisp" without the mugginess. Enjoy all!

Not here. Light rain now lol

Edit: radar has a tiny dot right over central Calvert. I am a rain magnet.

After several dry days, a potential active period returns for Friday through Sunday.

Latest AFD from Mount Holly-

By Friday, with return flow fully in place ahead of an approaching cold front, temperatures and humidity values will continue to increase as thicknesses increase across the area. Heat Index values are forecast to be high enough for potential Heat Headlines. As a cold front approaches, there could be enough instability and disturbances aloft for showers and thunderstorms to develop later in the day and into the evening hours.

This front may stall near the area over the weekend, leading to additional showers and thunderstorms Saturday into Sunday. Also, depending on where the front sets up, areas south of the boundary may keep enough heat and humidity in place for additional Heat Headlines on Saturday. With PW values near 2+ inches, heavy rainfall will become a threat with any showers or thunderstorms. There may also be a threat for strong winds as well with some storms.

I've been in Stratton, VT, since Saturday.   Already pleasant air mass got displaced yesterday evening by an even better one, complete with a nice line of storms.   It was a breezy 66F day at the resort and 58F at the top of Stratton Mountain (3,875').  It was chilly in the shade with that wind.  Fleece and sweatshirt weather tonight.  Steam is rising from the hot tubs.   It's weather we'd be lucky to get in mid-october.  Simply incredible to experience in mid-july.

Yep. Near bar harbor Maine, we barely hit 70 yesterday, in full sun, and evening lows are in the low 50s. Felt downright cold, like October weather in the heat island where I usually live.

Dews aren’t low enough for me but it’s 70 degrees and a clear blue sky which is a win considering the last few weeks.

It is still a little humid out but might as well be the desert southwest after the month we’ve had.
