That boundary that moved inland from the Ocean is impressive on radar. Popping some storms and temp dropped 10 degrees. Somehow I am in between 2 blobs of red lol. SOS. Maybe they will congeal.

The bay spit out another boundary that came across the lowlands and fired off some loud little pop-ups. It rained here for about 15 minutes. The sun was out the whole time. It was kinda cool. It's really steamy and tropical right now.

Edit: Holy shit! I just look at the Dover radar. That is a crazy sea breeze front. Is it rain? It looks crazy on radar.

Its headed across the Bay now. That's what kicked off the showers here. They have since disintegrated. Basically pulse type showers with weak shear. I did manage to pick up 0.20". Hopefully more to come over the next couple days.

I think that boundary moved over here as well from east to west but not 100% sure because the temperature only has gone down about 3 or 4°.

There were a couple of cells just north of me but they have dissipated.

Hopefully that line to the far Northwest that is moving Southeast will hold together..

Down to 79 here after a high of 94. It was 83 when the rain started.

Looks like some broken low storm-like clouds and distant thunder moving in FROM the NE. Some light rain fell for 15 mins but nothing unusual. Sun in western sky still slightly popping through broken overcast.

Brighter to my west. Temps down to low 80s now after 90.9° today.

0.23” so far.

And now, big healthy boom coming from my NW - N.  Just checked radar. Big cell centered from Granite to Ellicott City located just to my north.

These types of things often seem to fizzle/“miss/disappoint me. But I’m feeling it — for something in next 30-45 mins.

FYI:

pns25-41_RRFS_legacy_model_cessation.pdf

To save you a click, the topic is about "Soliciting Comments on Proposed Discontinuation of the North American Mesoscale (NAM) model and other Regional Modeling Systems to be Replaced by the Rapid Refresh Forecast System (RRFS) through July 26, 2025."

One less model to make fun of.

Well this sux.  Missed everything yesterday and today and thinking it might not rain again for a very long time,  Zone forecast looked so good 24 hours ago and nuthin

Was under a flood warning earlier today with a still dry gauge... only 0.19 in the last 13 days with this week's high temperatures - things are starting to get a bit dry again down this way....
