metagraphica
Looks like some dry air in the northeast quadrant, but trying to pop an eye. When Tropical Storm watch for Chicago?? Impressive storm for them. Just more rain down here. Make it stop.

dendrite
Sleet line getting pushed back in E NH already. Mostly snow now although I expect the sleet to put up a fight for awhile.

I like how that map was issued at 3:15, 3-4 hours after the precip began in southern NH. can't bust on a predicted map that already happened

Is that going to be the theme for most of the event, as in less to no sleet? at least north of PWM?
wxeyeNH
33.1 Parachutes.... snow whitened the ground a bit earlier and then with a lull it all melted. These parachutes are huge

wxmanmitch
30° F, SN/PL mix. 0.5" of snow and sleet accumulation. Getting some low level snow growth beneath the warm nose aloft as we get upslope flow from the east. I've seen this happen whenever we have a high inversion like this. Snowflakes are mostly needles and needle clumps. Getting the classic freight train sound just overhead wit some decent gusts mixing down. Grid power is out, on backup.
