One thing about this much maritime pacific air for this long in winter - so much fog. We now do fog as well as wind.

49 degrees and fog as I head out for morning dog walk in northern baltimire county.

Yep, 50 and fog seems to be every day in December the last few years…

I'd estimate over 2" here. It's weird how it's always 45-55 from November to April now. Even during storms it stays pretty steady. I guess it's the pacific puke that is doing this. Even with a NW wind the air just get drier, but not much colder. I'm guessing that's because Canada is also flooded with vomit air.

Finished with only 0.5 from the event... Looks as if December will finish up at 4.61 ... This late year push of  rainfall since the middle of November finally pushed my year total just over the 30 inch mark...3 months ago I didn't think I would pass the 23 or 24 inch mark it was that bad down here....

I was disappointed to receive only .52". A definite underperformer from the modeled 1.60" on Monday..

But, happy that December produced 189% of normal at 4.91".

Hopefully the STJ will stay active the rest of the winter and continue delivering above normal precip.

Our water table has came up around 5 feet, still 17 ft. below April.
