Another big Sept rain event between roughly midnight Friday morning and midnight Sunday morning (bulk 9/29-30/2023)

18z 3k NAM name has another 5" inches for NYC and Nassau County from 5pm through 2am. HRRR only has another inch for most parts. Surely do not want anymore rain-my parents basement in south Nassau is completely flooded.

Roads starting to fill up now in SW suffolk exactly 2 inches in Lindenhurst. Also first 2”+ event here since October 2021

If that is right that would even bring heavy rain back into portions of NE NJ as well. I am skeptical but we'll see.

It’s definitely low. Getting crushed here now. These wind gusts are more concerning than the rain at this point.
