Hey look, more rain for PF And Lava :arrowhead:

It’s hard for here to get totally screwed in summer.  Anything coming from the west can feed on the heat/humidity advected in on southerly flow up the wide Champlain Valley… then hits the Green Mountains after getting juiced up by the Champlain basin.

Its like moisture pooling ahead of the topography.

Well looks like driest month ever gonna happen. Historic here. North Foster driest was June 99 with .24.

Don't know about driest July here as we had .70" on one day, but definitely the driest June - July combo I've ever seen.  .95" total for the two months combined.

Can’t wait for that stuff sliding through eastern CT to fizzle before it gets here

Fizzle has occurred.  Was at a Duxbury Selectboard meeting earlier this week and the water commissioner was doing a presentation on just how dire our water situation is.  One of our rivers that feeds our drinking supply is down to 3" and unprecedented level.  Other towns like Pembroke essentially out of water.  Police in town patrolling for people using irrigation.

It isn’t good, that’s for sure. And a sprinkle here or there is t going to help.
