Down to just flurries in Washington DC. Looks like about a half inch fell so so far.

Crazy. 30 miles east we have nothing at all. Dry air keep eating away as it tries to move NE. Hopefully that's not a bad sign for those of us east of the city. Radar looks great then it gets obliterated as it moves in.

WB 6Z EURO.  For everyone except NE of Baltimore and along the MD PA line a moderate 4- 8 inches will fall by midnight and it will be over.  Just light snow/showers from coastal.  First map is the total.  Secondly map is snow falling from the coastal....wish it were suppressed!!!

Just assessing things here. Looked at nest camera from overnight. About 330 could see it start really coming down. Fast forward to real time eyeballing around 4”. Believe looking at radar things could have been a little more interesting had some of the echoes in NC come just a tad farther north but otherwise very pleased with first true storm in 3 years down this way. Temp 29.1

That's depressing. This basically turned into a NE event. I hope today isn't a dud.

We had 7 or 8” January 2019 in Crofton.  Everyone seems to forget it because it melted the next morning.  But I have pics.. that’s where I set the bar today and don’t think it’s going to break that.
