Uber long range on the GFS but first 40s of the season for lows in the mountains on 9/11.

A few days ago it showed 36 or so for that time... September snow chase if it gets a little colder?

There’d need to be a pretty anomalous air mass for snow in September even in the highlands. First flakes here have been in October the last two seasons although I’m sure Snowshoe and Canaan might be a few weeks earlier.

Snowshoe is pretty much in October if I remember correctly the past two seasons. Was also just messing around, but should have clarified.

Oh totally, I know!

Another sign of fall is here - goldenrods are in the early stages of blooming.

I’ll throw a vote out for sunny weather. I have had enough rain for a while

Quick hitting line dropped a half-inch of rain in about 10 minutes earlier.  Seeing some ground fog forming now in the farm fields.  Really pretty with the light of dusk.

Lol.. EJ will save me

I'm just glad to have something more then just sprinkles or a 1 minute downpour.  I'm not too picky but getting fringed for months was getting really :oldman:

Well the second part has been impressive with frequent thunder and lightning.

Looks like the rain should slack up soon per radar. 1.42"
