Thats showing more than just less overall qpf

Some of it is warm air wrapping in, but most of it is that they are too far north for good QPF once the column has cooled. A lot of it is down in E-C MA to RI/E CT. That's what I mean by the heavy qpf plume...I'll bet the firehose is a bit north of what the euro shows eventually just looking at the upper levels.

Agree. This thing is coming in a bit low, but we could at least score few inches.
