Man central and nrn VT up to the area that Oceanst mentioned is going to get pounded from now through 03z or so.

I think Killington over to northern whites through SR/Sugarloaf may be the winners. That ML front looks like its going to just park for a while.

Oh they'll be the winners for sure. But just that area mentioned and obviously points north getting blitzed good.

Looks like some snow on the cam near Gunstock. Lower lake elevations have vis a bit higher so places like Wxeye over 1k for now are getting better snows. Dual pol shows the mix line trying to move north.

Yeah RAP is parking the band there for another several hours until like 5-6pm when it starts to build northward.

Then 22z it moves north.

Coming over the causeway into the Champlain Islands was fun. The wind is ripping across the lake and looking to intensify in to tonight. Should be fun plowing later.

Hard to say how much snow we've gotten in the northern Champlain Valley but I'd say 2" on gut instinct.

Nice look at pressure falls now strengthening over Long Island Sound down through NJ approaching -7mb/3hrs.

You can also see nice temperature drop down the Champlain Valley and Hudson River Valley as the ageostrophic sfc flow/northerly drain picks up.

2:45pm  changeover has just occurred.  Sleet, rain and a few snowflakes.  32.2F  vis has come way up.  WeatherMA, line must now be about 5 miles south of downtown Plymouth.  It will be interesting to see how fast it gets there.

What time do you guys think we will go back over to frozen??

Yup, I was just taking note myself of how ALB got infused with lower DPs and have been forcibly wet-bulbed below freezing, and now icing has commenced there.  Suspect this starts happening down the Mohawk trail in western Ma during the remainder of the afternoon, too.

Helluva long way to go to SNE! lol

Just drove my daughter to her friends house.  Car read 34 here, 33 at the top of Patten Hill, 37 down on Route 2.

34.3/33 on the davis with a whopping .05" in the bucket.

Edit:  my snow icon is on, so all is right with the world.
