30.2F/27F High was 31.6F about an hour ago and temp coasting down. 1-2" of snow on the ground from squalls and light snow this AM so surface temp should stay down for awhile up here. Question will be how long and hard does snow fall before we go to freezing rain. I am in a good location to cold air daming so if the low passes close overhead I should avoid the warm southerly winds east of me.

Update, first flakes at 3:45pm from light echos over Central NH

Just walked around a bit outside... It's 36 here with a DP of 22...   The sky is utterly smooth even gray in every direction -- judging by rad it's probably snowing at cloud base.  Air is still...  It just appeals as pre-snow hour in every sense of what it is normally like just before flakes begin to fall.   We have rad filling in an a light band aligning along Rt 2 ...  It should be snowing here within the hour.  Ayer, el. 225"
