gymengineer
And Ian, I completely agree with you about the content, again. Yes, these "rainy" runs should give everyone pause in the cities about seeing a lot of snow. That's not what I'm talking about at all.

nw baltimore wx
I was out tonight and was looking forward to getting home and the euro pbp, a few laughs and a light mood, but I guess that's out. What an embarrassment. Nobody should ever see you sweat. SNE and every other forum we try to pretend that we are better than is laughing at us right now. mattie g
It was fun reading the petty and childish bickering from last night in the storm thread. Some pretty sad stuff in there. If we get a paste bomb (which I hope we do), I'll be glad to see it gone in a day or two. I'd like to try to squeeze in a round this weekend. North Balti Zen
From the other thread and the esteemed new member dsnowman: NE Balti Zen why don't you join the discussion rather than whine and complain about it - have something intelligent to say yourself? Bob Chill
I read around the subforums this morning. Lotta getting made fun of after the euro run. And rightfully so. Yea, we have plenty of pent up frustrations but still. A pinned storm thread should never be littered with so much big baby crap.

aldie 22
What I love best about living in an area where the four seasons are fairly distinct is that as we head towards spring the singing birds have returned. Like clockwork around 5am they start chirping while in winter...silence...these small things are fun for me much like when the leaves fall or when the fresh buds begin to sprout on the limbs....good stuff....I'm glad my senses are still sharp enough to allow me to enjoy it. I hope everyone who wants snow gets it this week...if it doesn't happen....try not to miss the forest through the trees....there's some real nice chit out there. Peace
North Balti Zen
Oh snap...dsnowman just called out Scuddz... Scuddz - who is this guy? So if you have not been posting here for 2+ years you have nothing to contribute? I take it back. THAT was high comedy. About time that newbies put red taggers in their place. Good times... clueless
Threads from last night were hilarious. And now we have reputations being impugned. Who woulda thunk? Bob Chill
It's been this way for months, not sure why today it's suddenly an issue to people Yes and no. When there's not much to talk about, letting banter fly at times is fine. It's really no big deal. When we are staring down the barrel of a major event it's a different story. I knocked off useless banter posts in the storm thread early yesterday afternoon. The second mets from other subforums join in with important discussion it's a no brainer to stfu unless you have real substance to add. I don't see why it's so hard but it is for some reason. Contrary to popular opinion, the report button does elicit a pretty fast mod response.
