NGTim
Large batch of precip is knocking on my door. Looks like this will be the event for MBY. Temp is nice and cold at 25.3 with a DP of 15. I expect the temp to drop a degree or two when the precip finally gets here. I've tried multiple times today to get my snow blower working but the whole thing is froze over. That's what I get for leaving it outside. reporting from South side of Dahlonega, in N GA. wow thanks for that update! I had stopped watching the radar cause it looked like it was drying up. yes looks like our event. I've got a glaze on the deck and car from sleet this morning, temp at 25 degrees. any guess at how much qpf is in that band? looks like roads ok right now, but another .2 would seem to create some problems on the roads imby, imo. Freezing rain has started back up on my end of town. Like you I have a light glaze from that .01" that fell earlier today. If we ended up with .10" I would actually be surprised. The precip is moving very fast and looks like it might be out of here in quick fashion.

weatherguysc
We're sitting at 27 after off and on sleet/freezing drizzle ever since about 9:15 this morning. Something I am noticing here about 2 miles South of the NC line is we have sleet falling off and on at a decent rate with nothing on the radar around here right now. Stovepipe
Winding down here. Still some light rain at 32 degrees. Everything is glazed nicely. It seems people generally stayed home so accidents have been minimal. Glad MRX didn't go conservative with this, it could have been dangerous.
