I'm in Jacksonville as well, models haven't been looking good for us in regards to ice potential. Kinda nervous about it as well. -

IR presentation continues to improve with storms wrapping around the center. Would be something if this made a run for a cat 3 landfall. I'm ready here in Jville.

Anxious to see what Dorian has in store for SE NC; here in Jacksonville there are still tons of houses with blue tarps on the roof from Florence last year.

Hey all checking in from jville. Im going into my 5th day now with no power lol. Finally am getting some sort of signal today where I can get a internet page to load. It has been crazy here in town. Any gas stations open you'll be waiting for one of two hours, same with the select fast food that has opened. The flooding that occured here was crazy. Water had over taken bridges on highway 17 and people were driving over it smh. I have videos i took when the winds got crazy and when i have a better signal I will upload. Most damage to our neighborhood is down trees and privacy fences, we were fortunate not to flood like other parts of jacksonville.

Major Hurricane Florence: STORM MODE THREAD

The winds have been relentless here in Jville. I almost made it into a calm part but it looks like it is staying just to my south so the strong NE part of the storm is about to hit me. This should be fun haha. -

House in jville has been shaking for hours, these wind gusts are something else. Can only imagine how many trees are going to be down around town with all of the rain. -

Could have been lol just wasn't the normal bright blue I'm used to seeing, I wish I had some light so I could show y'all this crazy wind. I tried to use cell phone light but not working too well. Florence looks more organized on the radar again. -

The wind is really ripping here in Jacksonville. I lost power about a hour ago. The city has a curfew until Sunday morning.

Wind was really strong just now with the first band that just came in Jacksonville, all you could smell outside was fresh pine. -
I'm in Jacksonville and because of the latest slight shift in the track south everyone is saying its not going to hit here and be bad; man are they in for a rude awakening with the flooding. Looking at the visible satellite this is amazing to look out, outflow clouds are now penetrating the coast. Keeping everything charged so I can provide you all some videos

Still debating if I'm going to leave Jacksonville or not for the storm. The visible floater of the Goes-East is stunning. If I don't leave I'm sure I'll have some crazy videos for you all.

I'm in Jacksonville and I was planning on riding out the storm but the recent model runs showing a stalling situation is a little scary.
