On a similar note, I wish WPC would develop an event archive like SPC does. It would be great for research.

I’ll make a note of this and perhaps entertain working on something that’s rainfall centric. I want to generate something that like this for higher profile events in the past for the Excessive Rainfall Outlook (ERO) desk, so perhaps this will be a reason to create a repository of events. 
 

We currently do Storm Summaries for winter events only, so maybe we can do something for the more formidable rainfall events. It would take a lot of time because we want the best information possible and strong write ups, so it would be a while, but I’ll certainly look into starting a project. Thanks Matt

Storm out there again this morning.  Really gross, no wind,.just rain.  Rain gauge looks to have over 2" in it but I'll have to measure properly once it stops raining.

Been lucking out overnight near Berlin, Md. with very little to no rain since arriving Sunday. Excellent beach day on Sunday. Mostly overcast and humid this morning with a few peaks of sun, but dry so far. Hazardous weather statements locally for 3’-5’ waves, rough surf and rip currents.

Anything Slight Risk or higher would be great honestly. The worst flooding of my career was in a Slight Risk last July when inside the beltway got slammed.
