Monday doesn't look terrible

Even for Sunday afternoon it appears that the rain will have moved to the east, something I talked about for days. Cloudy and cool but it should be ok to cook outside tomorrow. And Monday afternoon looks ok -- I don't know what Anthony is looking at if he thinks it's going to rain all day.

Monday looks like the better day but there will still be some showers.  Not a weekend for a BBQ

Not with kids in rec leagues or other activities! This weather in late May, during Memorial Day weekend, is just absolute trash and depression inducing.

Of course not . Next week looks much better once we get past this weekend.

2002: A Pacific storm system brought some much needed snow to the Colorado Mountains and foothills with a mix of rain on the Plains. Snowfall totals included: 13 inches at Coal Creek Canyon, 11 inches near Evergreen, CO. The former Stapleton International Airport at Denver reported less than an inch. Three temperature records were set. The morning low temperature of 31° was a record low; as was the morning low of 32° the following morning. The high temperature of only 48° equaled the record low maximum.

JFK 33 on May 23 2022? Pretty extreme if legit.

Top 3 low max territory with the onshore flow, clouds, and rain. It has been a common theme in late May and early June since 2013. This one feels much cooler relative to the 95° to 100° heat this past week.

55/ 54 steady rain 1.67 in the bucket.   Miserable day  / Memorial Day weekend.   Rain looks to taper off by 2:00 for most sooner west.  HIghs capped in the 50s today.  Pokes of sun , showers and back to the 70s for Memorial Day itself. Clouds lingering Tue/Wed for the most part but much warmer .  Sunny by Thu and near normal.  Weekend cut off has hopefully trended more north and less chance of unsettled weather in a week 5/30 - 5/31, but not 100% sold we dont have another potential ruined weekend.   Ridge building east and this more stuck up Omega-ish pattern should flatten and next round of warmth / potential heat 6/4 - beyond.

Once past this Memorial weekend awfulness  a drier week ensues with the brunt of the rains / heavy into the southeast.  Still would watch next weekend as the cutoff may still produce some unsettledness between Fri - Sun

1.29" in Bay Shore so far

Out here we've only had 5 days this month with a max above 70 degrees (ISP). That's the lowest amount since 2017. Average is around 9 to 10 days through 5/24. All that considered, the monthly temperature departure is +1.0° through yesterday even though we've had more below normal days than above. The warm weather this past week skewed the averages higher

Rain all but over out this way.  Clouds will linger along with some mist and drizzle.

Event total here as of 8am = 1.55".

Temperatures have been in the mid to upper 40's for about 30 hours.  Just now popped to 50 degrees.

Spread fertilizer on Friday afternoon and nice slow rain was perfect to soak it in.

Nice soaking sub forum wide.
