I was expecting to get screwed here in the valley, though not as bad as what happened, however, this is still extremely enjoyable and its a blast reading the reports and feeling the energy of others getting slammed.

We are gusting 70+ here in scituate with steady winds over 50. Worst winter storm i can remember. Having no power makes it harder to deal with as well.

The easy way to do a post with a video is to just write what you wanna write into the post then click on ad files and it will prompt you if you have an iPhone to go to take a video or photo. Hit take video ZOOM in a little bit so it looks good and just to make sure the video is less than 10 seconds and it should work.

I wish I could be more optimistic like Wiz and Ineedsnow but considering yet another missed opportunity ....it just blows. That thing is beautiful but its way offshore. We have to hope for some good banding just to get to the low end or just below the low end of what's forecast 

Not a great storm but there has to be more than 5 here.  I think Don in East Hartford has like 10 or 11.  Meteorologist Janna Brown from Agawam reported 7.5".

I've got to say, I still had about 10-12" OTG before this, glacier piles on the roadside, going to be fun clearing this later, some sick drifts between the cars and the normal spots in any NE wind driven storm... seems more N-S now, my anemometer is now frozen, highest gust I had was just over 50, that was like 3 hours ago, visibility decreasing again I'm thinking about 1/2 should be done here to get cleaning up.

band looks to be rotating more NE/SW and heading E with the peak about to cross over Newport, it has been a complete hammer for numerous hours, looking forward to venturing outside soon!

This storm is remarkable in the sense that its heaviest snows are happening in the most densely populated areas.

BOS wind 37G60.  ACK was 44G72 at 9, no report at 10.

The gusts have been impressive!

Not sure how credible it is, but a station in Wellfleet, MA (F3885) gusted to 98mph.
